FOGGY MORNING

I like the foggy morning. Then it is as if everything is still asleep. Some colors wake up early. You can see it immediately. At others it takes a little longer. For example, brown tends to take a long time to wake up. Although the sun helps enormously.

ENJOY!

REFLECTIONS

I like the colors of Scandinavia.

Especially from the reflections in the water.

The air is always cooler than in the south.

A matter of taste, may be.

ENJOY!

LEVELS

Everything has its own level.

Also the sea water.

Sometimes you look into the depth.

Straight through the water always results a distorted picture.

I like the colors.

ENJOY!

BREATHING

Breathing is the first thing that comes to mind when I see this picture. The fresh air of the sea that comes in from afar. A rocky coast on the Ålands Islands. A quiet place. A place to get lost, to immerse yourself in. Just look into the distance and occasionally see that tree that has been there for years. On the rocks!

ENJOY!

FILM

The good old days of film. I remember the darkroom with her special smell of the developer liquid. Today it is easy to transform a digital image into a true negative. Maybe the purist will deny the possibility of it. Anyway the black and white conversion of this image I took in Denmark is a true reproduction of the sky meeting the sea. And the possibility to go for a swim.

ENJOY!

LINES II

Undoubtedly it will be the work of an artist. All credits to him or her.

The line pattern here is also of unparalleled beauty. Sometimes you just miss it. It remains impressive when the sun seems to do her best.

ENJOY!

LINES

I love the play of lines in photography. It is not only a popular subject, but you look at photos differently too. Lines add an extra dimension to photos in general. You can also discover lines at De Hoge Veluwe National Park. They seem to be extra visible in a black and white display.

ENJOY!

ROCKY VIEW

Looking over the sea always has something magical. It awakens something in you. Often something familiar. Something you always wanted to do. Often when you see an island in the distance. Something unknown evokes sensation and you become curious about what could be there. The elements of nature always shower you with a form of purity.

ENJOY!

A MESS

“It’s a mess”, he said.

The colors of the fallen leaf appealed to me.

It all suited the environment well.
