About hansvandam

THE MAGIC WORLD !!!!! I love it…. Een dag zonder fotografie is een dag niet beleefd…..

ATOMS

Everything has its own kind of atoms. Both the stone and the leaf.

You do not notice the movement in the stone at all, although no moment is the same. A strange sensation because you can observe every movement in people. You notice the seasons in nature too.

Once disconnected from the source, an early season change occurs to the leaf.

You continue to be amazed of the source of all life. Maybe that’s why people capitalize this.

ENJOY!

ROOF

It is white wherever you look. Inside one of the buildings in Insel Hombroich.

It remains fascinating.

It echoes there. The ultrasound will meet you.

A place where you can think.

A place where you like to stop and look. Look at the whites.

There is a kind of peace in this place.

ENJOY!

DIFFERENT

The architects of Insel Hombroich have followed their heart.  Walking around is an experience! It is art in its best form. An experience in learning to look differently. Photographically it is a challenge too. You notice you walk around in an environment where creativity reigns. Create what not exists before. New vistas and insights. A park called an island. Slim and balanced design. A beautiful sight with materials that have resist the test of time. Design and ideas are going together. Just art. A place to spoil yourself. Even lunchtime – a delicious experiment and steeped in pure nature. A place to return again.

ENJOY!

FRESH

Nothing is as beautiful as a fresh green start of the day. The forest is still young, like the vegetation underneath. You do have to get off your bike to capture something special. How do you make the ordinary special, that’s the question. Move maybe. Fortunately, there are no rules in photography, at least there are fewer and fewer, it seems. At least I can enjoy it.

ENJOY!

WAVES

Waves are  unpredictable. Always. Especially when the wind is blowing. And it  often is at sea. Walking along the high tide is one of the most beautiful things. You literally can leave your thoughts and always can gather new insights, new ideas often.

In general, it is better to look at beliefs than to defy them. The sea remains dangerous. In a storm it is a fantastic sight, but you better stay away from it.

Looking over the railing is nice work too, but it must remain with looking and photographing.

ENJOY!

SHAPE

Sometimes you come across special shapes in nature. No, this shape is not very special, but much more the place where this has been originated. Roaming the boulders in the west of Sweden I met this shape. Left by the rain. Without any reason. Maybe for the photographing tourist or something like that. If you sit down for a while, you always will see more in nature.

ENJOY!

STILLNESS

Silence everywhere. There you are. Alone. There still are a few peers ahead. But, just leave me alone.

I look into the distance over the mountains and I know the sea behind it. The wind blows through my hair and she mainly comes from the same side here. I am a lucky one otherwise my hairstyle would get pretty confused.

I owe my grayness to my ancestors who were gray too. Although I myself think I am more like white. It also contrasts better with the mountains and my immediate surroundings.

For example, I think it is very good with green. Yellow does well, but I feel comfortable with green.

It’s lovely how the wind is blowing……

SUNRISE

One of the great things about a vacation is having lots of time for a sunrise. Especially when you camp along a lake in Sweden. What more can be said of that orange-red planet whose warmth you feel as soon as it appears on the horizon.

ENJOY!

VIGOR

It seems impossible to do not think about vigor seeing this photo.

It was one of those encounters in the nature of Sweden. Unspoilt at its best. Not a person to be seen and then suddenly the miracle is at your feet. How long will it take to really reach daylight. Where does the root of this new tree actually come from.

Questions, questions, questions. And nowhere answers that offer the real solution. Awe is what remains in this mass of stone.

ENJOY!

POWER

Power or powers perhaps, I had to think about that in this photo. The strength of nature radiates from it. Energy maybe. Who or what pushes the water to the pine needles every year? Who knows may say. In any case, it is something that exceeds human capacity. Something like vigor.

ENJOY!
