At night they are close together caring for warmth. By day they are flying around in my room. Of course my windows closed. In former days I have had them in a special cave with a room to sleep in. Nowadays I consider them as my little friends flying around me during my work.

During this Whit Sunday I had to make soup. So I linked myself to Jamy Oliver. The two of a kind tomatosoup is easy to create. Even in my own kitchen.

Somebody asked to create a poet for an organisation. I agreed without any hesitation. It had to be about nature. So the subject feels ‘close to home’, because that’s what I did before. ‘It has to be a new one’, she said. Well….. that’s more complex, because I cannot organise poetry on command.
As a matter of fact nature has to catch me. Today I saw a bush with red berries. And immediately I started my writing in Dutch (sorry)

I had to think about brown eyes, because I am in the kitchen. Today it’s backing day. Some people – like my cupcakes – have brown eyes. So far I never could discover brown eyed people are angry or happy. Today I understood it’s like my cupcakes. I have to look in a better way. Maybe they are too brown – then they are unhappy – just like me. Maybe they are just brown – then they are far from angry. So enjoy my cupcakes and be happy.

According to the title of the book of Francesc Miralles and Héctor García, Shinrin-Yoku is the Japanese secret for better sleeping, lower stress and a healthy, more happy life. Today I planned a trip by bike in order to catch a glimpse of Shinrin-Yoku, somewhere in the polder I live. Because it’s raining I stay at home. Surprisingly I found Shinrin-Yoku in my garden at the back of my home. I did not know I was that rich. It proved to me you do not have to walk to Santiago de Compostela in order to find happiness. It’s in your back-garden!

Did you know every cherry is unique. And every potato too. Did you know that?
Therefore it is strange to see people acting like others because they are unique too. It’s the miracle of live. Although, knowing is different from feeling.
I think feeling unique is the best way to performance. It’s a matter of adding something.
May be that’s why they throw a net over the cherry tree. They know and feel they are unique and have to take care. That’s what they do at Villa Augustus in Dordrecht (Holland).

In our 24-hour economy it is usual to return stuff we do not need anymore or caused by a wrong decision we made. In nature no wrong decisions are made. Regarding the time of the year (in this western hemisphere) some flowers are returning, are going back or are deceased, to come back next spring. You can rely upon it. Trust is like growth. It develops by millimeters, depending the wheater.

HEART BEAT
This one I photographed with my I-phone at the land of my son at Millingen aan de Rijn (Holland). Some rose-bushes are growing near the side of a ditch. They catched my attention because of the form they made together. I immediately thought on the heart beat of the earth, because some bees were circling around the flowers. So the future is guaranteed over there, I thought. As a happy boy I followed my way.

INTUITION AND TRUST
Today I start my new 100 day journal as I did before. I like to translate my story of the day in English in order to practice this language. As a matter of fact I still recover from my heart attack I had the past year. That’s why intuition and trust are important principles. The 24 hour economy attacks every hour of our lives and I strongly believe live is much more. So during the next 100 days I photograph as usual: from my heart. I hope you will enjoy my efforts to fulfill the principles as I mentioned.
At the same day I start my new diary in order to continue that feeling. That’s why I made this photograph. It’s from the book of Frances Hodgson Burnett, illustrated by Inga Moore: “The secret garden”. A robin is leading during night and day. I think I have to do it by myself.
