SKY

I saw some lines in the sky this morning. Immediately I remembered Diana Vreeland’s statement: ‘The eye has to travel’.

So, where are they coming from or going to? I really don’t know. I just know traveling to be important according to Diana Vreeland (1903-1989). Se worked as a fashion designer and columnist at Harper’s Bazaar and encouraged Richard Avedon to make some extraordinary pictures abroad.  Since I saw the documentary “The eye has to travel” I be aware of the photographic possibilities at places you have never been before. But I consider, as a matter of art, to be even more important to a photographer:

daily to walk the same road and seeing something new every time
